Here's the previous thread where someone has asked such

    and a great photo I might add, I don't have a camera...

I picked this thing up from a long running coin shop in Chicago that I've passed for years but never stopped in. First time stop and first time buy. I decide on the (5 Troy Ounce .999 Silver Round) Face side up Libertas with TR stamping below her foot area, you can't see it in the picture but it's there. Weighs in at 155.5 grams and Its got anti-counterfeiting reeding all around the thing except the very bottom. Only reason I bought this was because it had a good deal of tarnishing and the rest of the stuff he was handing me was biz packaged like candy and too cheesy looking.

I don't know anything about the makes and etc... I've been collecting silver for a long time but bullion rounds is a first for me.

If you know anything useful, thanks.

It's bullion and it's a 5 ounce replica type round made by SilverTowne or other place that mints their own rounds like these (Franklin, Washington Mint, etc). These types of rounds are usually worth melt value so I hope you didn't spend more than $160 or so, because that's what it's likely worth current at today's silver price. :)

    Yup

I had troubles navigating that site but yeah I paid like $165 and then payed $160 for my second which was an Old Glory Flag round.

Haha That's all I needed to know... I'm good to go the next around. This guy likes to deal coins through a bullet proof glass window and had the worst condescending attitude I've ever seen which made me even more suspicious :D
