    i have a original bank roll of sba's from 1979-s never opened. and was wondering if these things are worth much yet and if not will they ever be?

    If they are narrow rim, they are probably not worth too much, unless for some reason they are in unusually good condition. If you have wide rim coins, then your roll might be worth something. I'd still wait for one of the experts on this one though, as I've only recently gotten strongly interested in coins.

    i cant see the rim anyways. its a shotgun roll and dont want to break it open to find out

    I assume it's a $25 roll you are asking about - does it say Federal Reserve Bank on it ?

    no it says crocker bank on it.and yeah its a 25$ roll

    Then you could probably get about $30 for it. And I wouldn't expect it to increase much - at least not for many years.

    Hi,
    The Near Date variety is only found on the 1979 Philadelphia issues. It wont be found on any 1979 S pieces. 25 coin rolls can be found for less than $40.00
