My girlfriend has in her safety deposit box a coin she found as a bank teller back in the late seventies. They got a shipment of Susan B. Anthony dollar coins in from the mint and while she was rolling them, she found one that had not been stamped. It is a blank. Does anyone know what it is worth or a place I can find the worth on the net?
    Thank you very much

according to the redbook, around $85. i'm not good with errors like that, but thats what the redbook says.

    Welcome, and a nice find.
I think $85 is tops, if it hasn't been cleaned or damaged.

It could be worth more or less depending if it is a type I or II blank

If there is a slight 'upset' to the rim, it is a type two.
If the planchet looks flat and even around the 'edge' then it is a type one.

Thanks Frank, I never knew that you could tell the difference if the coin was blank. This shows you how much I know about errors.:)

    indianhead:
The blank is first put thru an 'upsetting mill' to raise a small rim about the outside.
    then it is struck.
