Just thought I would let everyone know, I now officially own the oldest 1 cent piece I have ever held in my hand, and i found it in a roll of pennies I got from Bank of America. I know it is nothing impressive to you guys, but it is very exciting for me as it is the first one I have ever had.
I wouldnt be so negative in saying that it's not impressive to us guys. As a matter of fact while it may not have any numismatic value to IHC, I say it is a cool find!! I can't recall in my roll searching that i have ever found a coin that old and the fact that you got it for free makes it even better!! Nice find!
Indian head cents are not easy to find in rolls. It's one of those "once in a blue moon" kind of things. I've searched around 15-20 thousand cents and never found one. Nice find!
