Hello everyone, My husband going through some old boxes that belong to his father had some old watches etc....then he found this tiny little gem. I enlarged the pictures, this little coin is very small. For me this was super cool! Just wanted to share. Have a great weekend!
There were gold quarter-dollar and half-dollar coins minted in California, and yes, they were tiny. I'm almost positive this is a replica -- it doesn't have a denomination marked on it, and I think all the real ones do. Original California fractional gold is somewhat scarce, and replica "tokens" are extremely common. But it's a cool find all the same!
