That's because the auction hasn't ended yet and its only at the starting bid

The only time you're going to find gold and silver "cheap" is if you find some old person that is cleaning out their dad's house and they stumble across a coin collection and don't know where to take it and put $10 on it at their yard sale.

I live in an 'over 55' community. There are many yard/garage/estate sales here every weekend.
Sometimes, I'll find one where someone has put out the belongings of their deceased spouse
without knowing its true value. When I find silver and gold coins and ask the price. Because the surviving
spouse usually has no knowledge of its value, it is most always priced much lower than it should be.
I will always explain how much they might get at a LCS, but because the closest LCS is over 20 miles away,
I offer about 10% less than what a LCS might pay, but always more than the original asking price. I always get to make the purchase. Some weekends are better than others, but they're all good.
