    Sultans of Dehli: Fakhr al-Din Muhammad bin Tughluq (AH725-752, 1325-1351 AD), AV Dinar (al-wathiq type), Hazrat Dehli mint, AH726/1325-6 AD, G&G D331 (12.73 g, 24.23 mm)

    Obverse: Ashhad An La/Illah illa Allah/Wa Ashhad An Muhammad/'Abduhu Wa Rasuluhu (I testify there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is his servant and his messenger)

    Reverse: (Inner circle) Al-wathiq Bi-ta'yid/al-Rahman Muhammad/Shah al-Sultan (He who trusts in the support of the All-merciful, Muhammad Shah, the sultan) (Margin) Zuriba Haza al-Dinar bi-Hadrat Dehli Sanah Sitt Wa 'Ishrin Wa Seb'mi'at (was struck this gold coin in the honourable Dehli year six and twenty and seven hundred)

    at that time Dehli controlled most of India/ only the Hindu Vijayanagar Empire (extreme S. India) remained free of the Islamic Invaders.
