I was waiting on my family in the store right by the machine that eats your coins and then gives you a paper to get your money back....a lady came and was putting in a LOT of coins and kept getting some back and I could tell it was older coins and world coins and tokens...I told her that I couldn't help but see that she was getting some coins back and as I coin collector I would glady buy them off of her for some $$$...she said...oh no no no...honey...they are just old coins that aren't worth anyting...don't see whey it didn't take them.....I told her thanks and she walked off  :(
They might have been worthless to her but to me they sure wern't!

If you could buy one of those machines and adjust it so that it'd take anything and everything, you'd probably come up with some pretty interesting stuff. Not to mention a 'slug' here and there....Gotta take the good with the bad though. I wonder how much they cost? It is a business, so it should be profitable, not counting all the neat coin finds.

Yea I would love to own one of those machines and set it up to accept all silver coins. But lucky for me I used one and I guess I had accidentaly left a seated quarter in my change and it popped it out...whew...i was relieved when I saw it come back.

Now that would be fun!!!...I wonder if the places that have them would let me put a card with my number and name of it saying that I would buy the rejects---I guess it wouldn't be the best place to put an add like that though...

Hey Jmpearso...did you get my PM today??

I was at a coinstar the other day, and in the place where the slip prints out, there were several wheat pennies, which someone probably pulled out, intended to keep, but forgot to take. I got a 1912-d as one of them : )
