    Hi,
Subscriptions to the gold spouse program are available at the us mint website, they are planning on giving a free hardwood presentation box. Subcriptions for the proof set are arround $1,600, do you guy think those will be a good investment? Mintage will be 40,000 max for each coin. Are you buying?

    Daggarjon:
Sorry, but Roy is correct: 1/2 oz.
    lets see: 4 pieces, = 2oz = $800 an oz gold.
    That's a little steep.
    Current market about $675 = $1350.
    That is a surcharge of 18.5% !
I'll pass and buy them in the secondary market, when they come down.

who would buy it at 1600 and sell if for less? I think these sets are really expensive, few people will buy them and in the future will be very valuable.... just my 2 cents.

I may buy 10 sets of these and give them away in a CoinTalk Contest!! How would that be for a bonus prize. Yea right, the only way would be to get the wife a little tipsy and then present the idea to her, she may agree..lol

That's actually a confirmation that you "bought" the subscription as opposed to the actual coins. Price should say 00.00
