Hi, Subscriptions to the gold spouse program are available at the us mint website, they are planning on giving a free hardwood presentation box. Subcriptions for the proof set are arround $1,600, do you guy think those will be a good investment? Mintage will be 40,000 max for each coin. Are you buying?
Daggarjon: Sorry, but Roy is correct: 1/2 oz. lets see: 4 pieces, = 2oz = $800 an oz gold. That's a little steep. Current market about $675 = $1350. That is a surcharge of 18.5% ! I'll pass and buy them in the secondary market, when they come down.
who would buy it at 1600 and sell if for less? I think these sets are really expensive, few people will buy them and in the future will be very valuable.... just my 2 cents.
It's in the catalog under subscriptions... Uncirculated http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...1&parent_category_rn=10201&top_category=10201 Proof http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...1&parent_category_rn=10201&top_category=10201
I picked the proof set!!! I am very interested in the TJ liberty!! Will buy an extra uncirculated of this one.

I may buy 10 sets of these and give them away in a CoinTalk Contest!! How would that be for a bonus prize. Yea right, the only way would be to get the wife a little tipsy and then present the idea to her, she may agree..lol
I ordered a subscription and this si what i got. Order Date: 05/01/2007 at 04:28 PM Order Status: Your order request has been shipped. Does this mean my coins were shipped? There is no tracking number.
That's actually a confirmation that you "bought" the subscription as opposed to the actual coins. Price should say 00.00
Could you tell me how i would go about cancelling it lets say 2 years from now if the situation arose?
To cancel go to my subscriptions in the my account area and click the cancel buton. easy as that although they do show you a drop down box askin for the reason
