I have a 2003 silver proof set. It seems the Maine quarter has 7 rays or light coming from the light house. it is either a struck through dropped filling or struck through misc. (greese filing etc..) Upon close inspection the area in question looks pitted and pushed in to the coin. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated Also - I have a 1941 silver washington quarter that seems to have been rolled down to a nickels diameter. this caused the edges to become raised and made it look like a checker. 1972 Lincoln Penny - dont know what is going on with it - looks like it was partially dipped in acid - but the obv and rev have different markings. Brockage?
