Take a look at this find and give me your thoughts. The pictures still do not do this GEM justice. At first, I thought the wavy lines were created with acid or environmental cleaning, then under magnification, you can see the struck through grease error. Love to hear what you think its worth!
I dunno looks like a counterfit, acid damaged or heavy environmental damage. Don't know what to think at firest glance actually Edit: I didn't even read what you wrote before I posted so if your thinking that too there you go.
Your coin is EXCESSIVELY WHIZZED. That causes the waves. Then worn - smooth area of relief. Probably worth melt but worth much more to the ANA as a teaching tool. If you are an ANA member and can spare some "change". DONATE IT.
Thank you all for your comments, you are probably correct. I am a new collector, so it was easy to THINK I found something.
