Struck in the kisser?

    Does this look like dmg to you guys? It's easy to say it's a scratch ofc..but,the line looks uniform and perfect unlike typical scratches or gouges I've come across. Could this maybe have been a strike thru wire or something similar at the mint?

    I'm thinking the same,what has me stumped is I cant find the initial point of impact or any raised edges like you see in typical pmd like this.

    Almost as if the edge of some cutting tool was forced into it

    I think I see faint vestiges of coin metal pushed up along the edges. It doesn't have to be real thick. Do you have a USB scope to examine it more closely? You don't need to give us another photo. Just tell us what you find.

    This looks more like a scratch as Mr. P. suggested.
