This pocket change quarter caught my eye. Looks like a strike-thru on both sides. Yes or no? Thoughts?
Common? No. Unusual? Yes, but it happens, however this does not increase the value of the coin a considerable amount.
I'd say its fairly common. This is especially noticeable on freshly issued coinage. After it's in circulation, the evidence starts to fade. I found that when I'd find this on nickels, it usually affected both sides of the same coin.
