This is interesting strike doubling but it has a doubled column that I indicated with arrows. I just wanted to confirm that this is strike doubling???
Yes, it is machine doubling (aka strike doubling). The biggest clue is the flat shelf created when, after striking the coin, the die chatters and shears off a portion of the just struck feature.
