I just bought this note yesterday.I found one a couple of months ago but the price was way to high and so was the grading, So this was the next best note I've come by and the price was right. I thought it was the same train as the S.C. RR note but this train is updated for 1914. Country/Issuer : Mexico, Banco Peninsular Mexicano Catalog : S-465 Denomination : 5 Pesos Series : A, 1.4 1914
thats a nice note! minor damage, some soiling, but it looks to have some scrispness left to it! Patience is a virtue, and it looks like it paid off for you :thumb:
Railroad Note The Locomotive in the S.C. Railroad Note almost identical except for smoke stack.The Alabama (1866 )obsolete Banknote is very similat also. Your note is very nice and I'm keeping my eyes open for a similar update Locomotive as in your vignette.
