Strange PMD? Lincoln Cent

    Yes to PMD and yes the zinc can show for other reasons. Like a mint error like this coin I have. The planchet did not eject from the press, flipped over and then was double struck. You can see the reverse on the obverse and the obverse on the reverse and the zinc shows.

    You can clearly see the crimp mark, PMD. Keep searching and sharing, good luck.

    I am going with damage, the last time I said that it was some funky indent.
    But, I bet I could do that with the right pair of pliers.

    I was going with pmd. Just sometimes u never know. I wouldnt say crimped. Maybe something heavy with alot force came directly down on it.

    Appears to be just damage to zincoln cent to me.
