Hey, someone check this out. Seems to be strange broken die type error? if anyone has any information on this type of error please clue me in! I'm going to bring it to a coin show tomorrow and see if I can't get some input there. The deep strike of the numbers (although they are not squashed meaning they were not indented after being struck) and the lack of wear indicating that they were struck deeper than the surrounding surfaces on the coin so that they have reduced wear would indicate that this probably occured from a broken die? Anyone have any info, am I far of course here?

    Thanks!
    Ryan

It appears that your coin has a planchet defect. A lamination peel occured on the planchet prior to the strike. Due to the grade of the coin it probably wont have much value over its regular numismatic value.
