Strange Nickle

    I have a 2000-D Nickle, and every word and letter is like...smudged, blurred, and stretched out. It looks like the die was convex shape.

    I saved onto it just incase it might have some value, any ideas anyone?

    Ill try to post a picture as soon as I can.

    A picture will be definite, but it sounds like an over polished die. I have seen loads of these for 2000 D nickels. It could be a grease strike as well. Just my speculations... hey I could work at CNN!:p

    That might be what it is, because the coin looks almost like a proof, very shiny, but it isnt.
