Strange looking Elizabeth I Sixpence??

    Any of you English "Elizabeth I" experts have an explanation of what the heck this
    strange 1568 Sixpence coin is, it has no inside boarder, so the lettering is kinda
    free-floating... must be a modern fake tourist souvenir coin as I have
    never seen one like it...? I have a normal Sixpence uploaded for
    comparisons sake, or i'm I missing something,
    is this some special sixpence version of the time??? 2.jpg

    Looks like there was a milled variety without the inner ring of dots issued for several years. Link (Second photo down from top)
