STRANGE IMAGE on the reverse off a jeferson nickel

    170-S NICKEL.jpg i was looking through pocket change i found a 1970-s nickel with a strange looking reverse as if struck with two different dies i have a picture of bot sides is it struck through or a different it is definitely something wrong with it

    It looks like post-mint damage to me.

    It's from a vending machine change holder .
    The circles on the obverse & reverse are caused from the screw, holding the change in the sleeve .

    did you look at the obverse closely from the fore head up to almost mid hair

    Yes, it is a damaged nickel.
