Strange Foreign Coin Found in Half Dollar Roll (Possibly Japanese) Need Help Figuring it Out :)

    Picked up a box of halves today, and a few rolls in this beauty pops out, my girlfriend said it looks to be Japanese but nothing current, can you guys help me figure out what I have here? can't find much on google search.

    Some kind of good luck medallion..
    You ask how it got into the roll? People have stuff they don't want. The best way to get rid of the stuff is to roll them up with US coins.

    I'm baffled by how it ended up in a Loomis roll, it wasn't customer wrapped.

    It's Chinese - the reverse shows dragon usually featured in Sinkiang Province (Xinjiang).

    I swear I have seen this somewhere before maybe in this forum...
