Merry Greetings That's the first time I encounter such a weird coin that I couldn't even position in the scanner. I mean I didn't know where is top and where is bottom. Furthermore it looks clearly counter stamped. It weighs 3.44 g. Could you please help me find out ? Thank you.. Charles
On the first side up, there is a lettering down like numbers.. Then over the numbers, there seems to be some kind of a a ship or thunderbolt ? Charles
It's the galley prow of a coin of Arados. The obverse is just struck way off-center. The lettering under the prow is the date in Phoenician.
On the second side down, is there a clear counter stamp in the middle of the coin ? It has a rectangular form.
