Still some in the wild!

    Amazing I am still finding these in the wild. Thought they would all be pulled out of circulation by now. Maybe they are being released again by someone who doesn't know what they are, but this one looks like it's been in circulation quite a bit.

    I'm sure not that many people know about W Mint Mark quarters. It might have gone through the pockets of dozens of people and they never noticed or even cared until it reached you ;)

    It's not something most people give a thought to.

    I check every quarter I get in change, but I'm not sure I've ever seen another person at a store doing the same. I'm sure a lot of these have fallen through the cracks so far.

    Hijacking my own thread! LOL In your opinion would this quarter realize any added value in this condition? Also do you think a soak would help it?

    It might, honestly though I would leave it alone.
    A soak would probably show any and all hairlines.

    Nice find but I would leave as is. I think only collectors know about the W mint mark on quarters.
