    I'm never sure about these, but it is probably machine doubling. I say this cause I can't see anything like a separated serif or anything like that. It looks neat though :)

    Yes, I believe this is machine doubling, as it has plateaus of doubling and doesn't have split seriffs :) Could be wrong.... Will edit if my info isn't valid :-D

    looks like pretty extreme doubling from what I've seen, maybe just the good close up photos.

    The flat, marginal shelving is characteristic of machine doubling.

    I understand the flat-shelf-like doubling on the Letters. Its the Edge of the Building that Sparked my interest. At what point does Machine Doubling become interesting? Do I just discard this one as nothing?

    Are there any other 81 varieties that are doubled that I can compare?

    Machine doubling must be much more severe than this to carry a premium. Some Sac dollars with severe machine doubling have been selling on eBay for $80 or more. But in those cases, many design elements are effected and there is clear doubling of interior features like eyes, lips, and noses.
