State Quarters.

    I have heard that this has been called the '50 State Quarters' programme.Shouldn't it be more correct to say '100 State Quarters',as they have both 'P' & 'D' mintmarks? But the 'S' mintmark coins are proof-only.

    hmm...I guess no, because there are 50 states ;) and yeah there are P D and S coins but for the same state :)

    Just think of it as quarters of the 50 States, not 50 quarters depicting States. :D

    And, for some unknown reason, the U.S. Mint uses American spelling, not English spelling, for the name of its "Program".

    Sorry,Roy,I am not very familiar with American spelling,but I can understand where you are coming from.

    Anybody know if the Minnesota quarters are out or when they are coming out?
