Trying to figure out how the first 8? editions of the state quarters were sold from the mint. I have searched all the press releases from this time period on the mint website, plus multiple other searches with no luck. I believe that the New Hampshire quarter release was the first to have a 2 roll set packaged from the mint. Looking at ebay, I found that the first 8 were single roll set from either P or D mints. Did they continue with the single roll set? If yes when did the single roll sets stop? Is there a mint code for the first 8, I have all the mint codes for 2-roll, P/D $25 bags, Quarter only proof, and Quarter only silver proof, from 99-09. Would like to start collecting all the quarters release in the mint sealed boxes, rolls and bags, but need to understand how they were sold at release. Any information would be apprciated on this.
