Have you considered that it is likely a clogged die error ?

Could you tell that there is still a slight s,d or p on it, because I cant see anything but a blank. is it still worth money if it is that?

No, it is not worth much. In all likelihood the coin is the result of that part of the die being clogged with grease or dirt at the time the coin was struck. This is quite common - happens all the time. You can find coins with missing letters, missing numbers in the date and missing mint marks.

They do make neat coins to collect, and some error collectors make a habit of collecting them - they even search them out. But seldom would any pay more than a dollar or two for these coins.

    alright Doug,

What do you think of a 2005 Ocean Nickel missing the date and WE TRUST?

That's major major damage. Tell me what you think.
