I'm hooked....I found these complete 360 circles on the rev. of the Puerto Rico and the Texas state quarters. Do these have a name?
Yes, this is counting machine damage. The machines they use in banks to count and sort large volumes of coins will sometimes cause these circular scratches. A coin with these circles should be spent, they have no value above face value.
