This one does not fit in with my double strucks. Have been sitting on this one but am now going to part with it because it is not a typical double strike. How best do you describe this one,,,,I know it is a double strike but on the rest of mine,,, the second strike has a full obv and rev strike. This one has a good obv second strike but no detail on the reverse second strike. kinda like a brockage on the second strike??? Would this just be called a double struck or what would you call it?? Is it more or less desirable??? Elusive?? Ideas on value as a ms63 as I will be selling once I figure what I have. I believe this is your area of expertise Mike so your input would also be appreciated,,,as well as the entire error forum. Thanks

The second strike was on top of another planchet. It's known as an off-center, uniface strike. These are less desirable than off-center strikes that are die-struck on both faces. Still, I would say it's worth perhaps $200.

Great thanks Mike. Thats exactly what I figured but sometimes its hard to look outside the box. This is in a pci ms62 slab I had purchased for up-gradeability. Slab says double strk on plnch. Super nice for a 62 so I bought it. Will be putting it up on ebay for $.99 in a few days along with a spare Delaware pcgs ms64 45% off ctr and some minor errors so we'll see how it goes. Thanks and take care. Doug
