We all post and read thread after thread about the wonderfulness of this hobby.. the beauty of the coins.. and yes, sometimes the comedy of its members..

Today, while looking at my pocket change (my OCD moment), I realized that I had all State Park Quarters in my hand (about 8 of them). I don't collect them, but they are neat to check out.

One of the ones in my hand was a Mount Rushmore park quarter... Yikes... That has GOT to be one of the ugliest reverses of all the quarters I've seen so far. Jefferson's(?) nose is larger than his face... And on his cheek.. with the guy hanging there (maybe chiseling the design), reminded me of a stray booger or fly...

Which of the state parks have you found to be your 'least favorite'?

I definitely vote for Mount Rushmore. If you haven't seen it yet, I'll attach an image for you to see!

The fact that Jefferson's nose looks big is because it is in the foreground. It is called perspective. The same thing would be true if you compared a car parked ten feet away from where you stand to one that is parked one hundred yards away.

There haven't been many of the ATB quarters I haven't like.

Not a big fan of Perry's Victory (and I get so many of those!) or Hot Springs. Really like most of the others, including Mt Rushmore.

One thing I like about the state park quarters is their relatively high relief for new coins... The Mt. Rushmore is particularly deep.
