I found my first star note today. I must say it was kinda exciting. Honestly though it was a one dollar bill. If it's not really worth more than one dollar and may never be worth more than one dollar ... I may spend it on a snickers bar tomorrow ..:mouth:
grrrrr dont spend it lol Congrats on your 1st star note! Who knows today what might be worth more tommorrow. If we all knew that for sure, we wouldnt have collections as we awould always be selling what we bought yesterday. I love finding star notes. 1's are the easiest to keep as they are worth the least. If you can keep it, i would. It has the best chance of gaining value then its corresponding non-star note. The best way to tell, is to post a pic, or at least the serial and series date. There are always them low-printing districts that could gain even more value.
your note was printed in may of 2007. Not alot special about the mintages, over 7 million printed. But, i would still keep it... you will only ever find your first star note once
