I recently found two star notes and was wondering if they are worth keeping and how much they would be worth.. One is a 1999 $100 note with a serial # of BB03932712*, and the second one is a 2006 $20 note with a serial # of IF03702354*.. Both are lightly circulated but in very good shape..

All 1999 $100 star notes are worth face value unless CHCU or better.
All 2006 $20 star notes are worth face value unless CHCU or better.

    sorry.

If they are worth keeping is up to you.

Condition (especially any degree of circulation) will do a lot to deteriorate the value of a note in the eyes of collector most time, even though it's a simple star note you came across. Perhaps if you had a repeater, binary or other fancy or especially low SN combined with a star there would be hope if condition wasn't atrocious. Learning about notes' condition will greatly help to inform you of value. Keep looking and searching new straps if you have an obliging teller at your bank as there are gems out there.
