star note question

I know the pic quality is horrible. I just took it with my cell phone and didn't even bother to get up and turn on the living room light but I think it will work to answer my question.

First I noticed the note because of the top margin. Then I noticed that it is a star note. Is this star maybe worth more than a regular star because of the margin being a little off? Probably not but had to try.

Also while you are reading this I found a $5 star not today not sure of the exact serial number but I think it is 00001074* or something like that. I'm not sure of the last 2 numbers. It's a 2006 and in pretty good condition not uncirculated though. That's all that I remember off the top of my head right now. Worth saving that one because of the low number and being a star? Thanks!

Yes it's off too but not quite as much as the front. Let me get up and get my camera and get other pics. Sorry I'm just being LAZY! LOL Give me a minute and I'll have them up.

Okay there is a little better pic and one of the back. Sorry they are still small. I'm not good at this stuff. The file was too big to upload then when I did get it changed it makes them small. Maybe it will give you an idea though.

Cannot make out year but maybe this was cut from a sheet? Need year to check.

I would keep both. Again without the letters on the $5 I cannot tell how big the run is? The number is small enough that I would keep it anyways.

    Nice finds

usually... unless the note is perfectly centered, the further from full centering it is, the less the note is worth... UNTILL that is, the design is being cut into...

cool finds though! 4 leading 0's... thats pretty cool IMHO!

The picture is so small it's hard to tell but it looks like the first letter in the serial is an F. If yes it was a run of 640K which is small. Doesn't say anything about sheets for 2006 so I am not sure. I still say keep it.

You know I have one of those accounts and now remember posting pics that way. It's been awhile since I've done it that way and had forgotten. Thanks! I was in a rush to get those up and hubby was waiting with the T.V. on pause so we could watch one of our shows.

Itty bitty images hurt my old eyes too!

Thanks! I'm actually 34. Not "old" I guess but I'm no spring chicken either. I guess the fact that I work with 19-23 year old girls makes me feel older than what I am. That and my son brought home his order form for his Senior Class ring today. AGH!!! Kids will make you feel old!
