Hey guys, Found this in my dads place and took it :b does it have extra value over face? Thanks Dan I don't know how to rotate the picture sorry:/
Star Notes for the most part don't carry much over face value. There are some exceptions though, for example, batches that have less than 240,000 reprints are what I consider "rare". Yours looks to be in decent shape, so I would hang onto it. Its at least a cool conversation piece. Most people outside of the collecting world have no clue what they are even though they may have one in their wallet.
For the most part they don't carry much added value. I just like them because star notes are something special you can find in your pocket unlike modern coins. I agree that they are a neat conversation piece. Sent from my PD_Novel using Tapatalk
its probaply worth 135.00 plus they ever get the machine working on the new 100 it will be worth awhole lot more
I steer clear of any 2006 $100 stars. Maybe when I'm rich and I don't have more less common notes to grab before 2006's, I would grab them too but 2006 $100 stars are just too common as will the Series 2009 $100 stars be. So far my bank has offered me 4 HB*'s, 6 HL*'s, and 2 HF*'s. For a while, I kept one of the HF's but I end up usinig it to grab a less common $100 star. Good luck with whatever you end up deciding to do. -Travis
