If the serial number is low or special & the note is UNC than you maybe able to get $5 bucks for it on ebay . Being that it is a recent series there is not want for it yet.

If there is nothing spectacular about it - the value is basically what the note is.

Yes, budgood is right. I, however, like to keep them. They're fun conversation pieces.

    By the way............
Most recent series of STAR NOTES in packs of 100 notes are almost 100% in the hands of Dealers. By the HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of notes. 99% of recent Star Notes still exist..... In Massive quantities......
It is not even close to older series of star notes (which were not saved en masse) Older Star notes, even cheap (underpriced) 1935 and 1957 series of $1.00 Silver Certificate Star Notes, and 1953 and 1963 USN $2.00+$5.00 Star Notes were not saved in any quantity. Perhaps only 5-10% of older Star notes still exist, and a lesser 5-10% of those exist in any "NEW" or "CU" condition.
Pass off on the new Stars, go for the still cheap older ones.
