stampings on 1917 lincoln penny

    Wondered if anybody had an opinion on this coin I found in a bulk lot of coins I bought. The date is during WWI and there was an 18th US cavalry
    and I did some Google searches and the name Farley does come up during WWI. Think it could be worth anything.

    It was probably the product of some GI with access to letter/number punches and a little bit of time on his hands.

    I doubt it's worth much without provenance. Maybe some WW1 buff would be interested but you're not going to get rich from it.

    Probably more sentimental value then monetary value
    Did not plan to sell it anyway. It’s a one of a kind coin
    That no one else has so that’s kind of cool.
