I went to an antique show at a local trade center...and found a 1943-P War Nickel... in a PCGS Sample Slab.... it looks to be VG/F. I paid $5...how'd I do? stainless
Be carefull of antique shops and actions. People today are trying to sell anything as an antique due to that program called the Antique Road Show on TV.
I'd have given $5 for it just to say I had one. Nothing wrong with picking something up on impulse once in a while. I did it today myself with a 1947 Un Balboa. I just liked it.
You bought a Rocky Balboa commerative I didn't even know they issued them yet , heard rumors though . Rusty:hatch::hammer:
Well, you got a 75-cent coin for five bucks. Now, the question is, which generation PCGS slab. If it's a "rare" slab, a sample slab collector might be interested. Check out www.sampleslabs.com Cameron Kiefer used to run it; probably still does. Check out the variety and see if you got a good one.
I bought the slab for resell. I actually sold it yesterday for twice what I paid..so I am happy :kewl:. stainless
