She is a family friend and was quite helpful. She said she rarely gets half dollars and if she does they go as fast as they come in. However she is going to put aside what she has today for me, I am buying one box of pennies and one roll of UNC Presidential dollars. She said they have never ordered a box of halves but she would see if they could. Somehow this branch doesn't have a direct fed line, but the main branch does. So she has to ask if she can. She will also see if I can get 100bucks worth at a time instead of the whole $500 box.
Good luck to you. I went through my last 15 boxes and found nothing. My best luck has been customer wrapped rolls. My bank used to order boxes for me. I used to get $3k worth at a time. My bank had a direct line with the Fed and it helps to live in one of the 12 Fed cities. I can get any denomination of coin or currency ordered and delivered to my bank overnight. Don't expect the bank to give you free wrappers. There are some cheap places to order them from.
