Since Delaware is special can Abe be special too? I wasn't aware that he chewed but the truth is out now.

    Whatcha think? LoL

Or better yet, how about drooling Abe.

This is know as a gas bubble or plating blister. Good news...it is an error in the minting process. Now the bad news. Unfortunately this kind of error is VERY common and will eventually cause your coin to decay. Due to this it carries no premium.

It happens when gas gets trapped during the plating process. The gas expands due to the heat caused by the plating process. This expansion causes the plating to pull away from the surface forming a "bubble" or Blister".

I read somewhere that Lincoln liked snow wrestling—could be ice melting off of his beard ;)
