Spider/Owl symbol?

    i think it is an owl. i saw it or read about it somewhere but cant remember what it symbolizes, if anything probably an anti counterfeit device.

    Speaking of funky things on bills, I just found out that there are the names of 26 states on the reverse of the $5 bill most of us have been using for the last decade. Go figure, there are plenty of odd things that are yet to be commonly known about our money.

    The five dollar note is an overprint, and yes we have that particular note in stock. A weird error note.

    it's interesting how sometimes our government messes up currency and coins

    The BEP messes up a great deal of notes, but they are very good at catching their mistakes, and the public never sees it.
