Hi everyone. I cant take a picture right this second, but I will later. I am 21 years old. When my dad was in the military when i was just born, we were in Germany. His captain gave him a special coin, pure silver and sealed perfectly still. This coin was handed out to all the "big wigs" in the area of ramstein-meisnbach. His captain told my father that only 500 coins were made and that if we came back when I was 18, the coin would pay for my college education. I find that to not be true, but I have searched google with a million different tries. I can't find one piece of information or picture, so I'll take one soon. Has anyone heard of such a coin? The only thing I remember on it is it says ramstein-meisnbach on one side. I am assuming this coin was for the designation of ramstein-meisnbach in 1991, but maybe im wrong. Like I said, details: pure silver, sealed, says ramstein-meisnbach on one side, and most likely made in 1990-1992. 91 is my best guess though. Thanks for any tips or leads everyone.
