Spanish coin

    Where can I find the mint mark for a silver Spanish 8 real piece?

    Normally they are along/on the edge of the coin.

    Oh, there are several. Mexico City is one orf the more common mint mar5ks. It has an (M) with a (o) over the top of it. A really neat one looks like the dollar sign ($) from Potosi, Peru. Can you get a picture of both sides of the coin your refering to?

    Potosi is in Bolivia Bone. Lima was the mint in Peru.

    After close examination, I have found that all the coins are minted in Mexico City.
