These medals were given to engineers at Rocketdyne (division of North American Aviation & later a division of Rockwell International) based in Canoga Park, California. We were not involved with Rocketdyne from 1974 to 1978 so I don’t know what medals were presented during those 4 or 5 years. Does anyone at CT have other medals like these? Those are really cool. I am a huge enthusiast when it comes to spaceflight so I find these really interesting. I especially like the Apollo 8 medal as it is among my favorite missions. The STS-1 medal is also really cool (another one of my favorite flights).
