Though collecting for 8 years, I have just now stumbled across my first Soviet coins. They are all circulated, and I was wondering if anybody could give me a rough estimate at how much they are worth, and/or how rare they are. I have a proof set from the USSR-1975,it has 9 coins and a token with a building on it(the mint ?) I got it on ebay years ago for about $8.00. I hope that Helps. Norm
CoinJoe2006,which U.S.S.R. 1991 5 Roubles coin is it? There were a number issued in that year. There was various large-sized ones,plus some bimetallic ones issued by the Government Bank of the U.S.S.R. just prior to the U.S.S.R.'s dissolution.
