hello looking to purchase wholesale lots of uncleaned roman coins and mixed lots of usa coins any ideas where i may be able to aquire these wholesale is appreciated
There are no sources for buying at wholesale prices. If it were that easy, we dealers wouldn't have to work very hard at acquiring pieces. My suggestion for any non-dealer looking for close to ask prices is buy in bulk. Most dealers are more than willing to cut some profit to move lots of material.
ND hit the nail on the head. As a dealer, it is getting more and more difficult to purchase quality material at wholesale prices. Often, when it comes to problem-free desirable key and semi-key coins, even dealers are being forced to pay more than "wholesale" just to acquire the pieces.
yes i understand this perhaps i will rephrase. i want to purchase in bulk thus aquiring at bulk prices and not buying in small lots, getting at discount prices to retail ie wholesale. regards jimmy
Pick up a copy of Coins, Coinage, or CoinWorld. Contact any of these large dealer. I can't really recommend a specific dealer in this area as it directly conflicts my interests.
