Uhhhhh. Obviously everybody knows about the recent dip in silver. It was steady at 35. Ysterday i was so conflicted. I have a coin show this sunday so i wasnt sure wether i should buy silver yesterday when it was down or wether to hope that it would stay low until my coin show. I decided to go wi the show and ofcourse silver is already up by like fifteen percent. Uhhhhh. And by the time my show come itll probably be back in the fortys. Anyways im also conflicted about what to get at the show haha. I will have exactly sixty one dollars. I know its not much but last time i got a BU morgan for like half of that. My interests are definitly half dollars nickles dimes and cents. Particularly lincoln cents. So in this price range and those coins what would you guys get

I hate making suggestions about what someone else should buy because all I can do is base it on my preferences rather than yours. Why don't you surprise yourself? Don't go there with any preconceived notions, and when you see THE COIN with just enough pop and bang for your buck, you'll know.

I agree with cmpm9ball. Many a time I've gone to a coin show looking for a particular coin or coins when something else catches my eye and end up having/wanting to buy it :) Just check around and see what catches your fancy and is in your price range :)

I know what you mean, before I went to bed last night I bought alot of old silver coins
I hope I made the right move. But I will hold onto it if it does not come close to where it was.

The truth is if you buy higher grade collector silver in most series, the high silver prices didn't really affect the prices. So, don't be turned away from silver series just because silver is currently pricey. Lincoln cents have come down somewhat after the 2009 madness, so it's starting to look more attractive to buy a few of those.

I meant i was gonna buy low grade coins worth melt just for bullion. But yah i think lincoln cents is what im gonna focus on. Thanks for the advice.
