    I see it all the time. I dont mind it when its common/junk but yeah that commemorative, sad :(

    I don't think a genuine coin was used in this case. Title mentions "cast coin".

    Especially at $3.45 each. As of last Friday, silver melt for a 90% Half was sitting at $7.25!

    I have a little button somewhere that is made from an 1897 IHC that I actually wear occasionally as a button cover. Contemporary crafts made from contemporary era coins are actually cool IMHO.

    I also collect potty coins. Don't ask me to post them here, June says no.
