I've been selling at flea markets for the past 3-4 years. I made a sign saying I accept silver coins as payment. For example a dime is worth $1.25 in trade, and a Dollar is worth $18.00. If you're having a yard sale, why not put up a sign? You might find someone with a collection wanting to sell.
I spent the better part of a day once trying to think of something that had never been thought of. Everytime I came up with something I realized it didn't qualify as something that had never been thought of anymore, so I finally gave up..... Lack
Try buying silver for spot, at least this way you make money, and you make more money because your coin value is less than spot.
Very bad idea to let people know you are a coin collector by putting a sign up at a garage sale etc. Might just as well put a sign out "Please burglarize this home".
People snicker at our paranoia and maniacal propensity to hoard objects that most of us believe to be valuable. But they will follow our ways if they plan to survive mafias, gangs, zombie banksters and their daisy chain fractional reserve system and corrupt, groping governments looking for "resources" to fund their compensation packages. So, could someone tell me again how coin collecting is a dying hobby?
