Some weird stain?

    Found this in a Loomis box, never seen one like it. Doesn't look or feel like a scratch. Whaddya think? Some kinda stain?

    Looks like a stain, just weird I thought it may have been dipped in something, but no line on the reverse?

    No, none. Wouldnt a die crack feel raised? Maybe some kind of lamination thing?

    If anything I might say linear plating blister. but it would have to be raised for that. I still think it is a stain, it is just extremely strait.
