some very good sasanian fakes

    I noticed in recent few months lots of good Sasanian fakes are surfacing on social media. it is a bit concerning for those who collect these coins. I magnified one of the images that demonstrate air bubbles on the surface typical of cast coins.

    Lots of genuine ones online but as an example here is a recent genuine one sold in auctions.

    I'll be honest, comparing them to the genuine coins you posted, these don't seem like very convincing fakes.

    Yea good for you that see these as fake easily , there are quite few fellas I know who think these are genuine
